Highlighted Services and Procedures
da Vinci Robotic Urological Surgery
Minimally invasive surgery (also known as MIS, laparoscopic, or endoscopic surgery) allows physicians to perform many types of surgical procedures through 1-2 cm incisions. For most patients, a minimally invasive approach offers substantially less pain, less blood loss and a much shorter recovery. Other advantages include reduced need for blood transfusions, minimal scarring, less risk of infection, shorter hospital stays and quicker return to normal activities. Cystoscopy
A cystoscopy is an examination of the inside of the bladder and urethra, the tube that carries urine from the bladder to the outside of the body. In men, the urethra is the tube that runs through the penis. The doctor performing the examination uses a cystoscope—a long, thin instrument with an eyepiece on the external end and a tiny lens and a light on the end that is inserted into the bladder.

Vasectomy
A vasectomy is surgery to cut the vas deferens, the tubes that carry a man’s sperm from his scrotum to his urethra. The urethra is the tube that carries sperm and urine out of the penis. After a vasectomy, sperm cannot move out of the testes. A man who has had a successful vasectomy cannot make a woman pregnant.

Prostatectomy
Minimally Invasive prostatectomy is surgery to remove all of the prostate gland and some of the tissue around it, to treat prostate cancer. Learn more about Minimally Invasive Prostatectomy
Extracorporeal Shockwave Lithotripsy (ESWL)
Lithotripsy is a medical procedure that uses shock waves to break up stones in the kidney, bladder, or ureter (tube that carries urine from your kidneys to your bladder). After the procedure, the tiny pieces of stones pass out of your body in your urine. Learn more about the Extracorporeal Shockwave Lithotripsy (ESWL) procedure
Bladder Problems - Bladder and Urethral Sling Procedures
